It all started a few weeks ago when area woman and sundress wearer Brooklynne Pageantry was out shopping for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. While Brooklynne hadn’t missed shopping, it felt like something to do to get out of the house and her friend Jasmyn was begging her to go. At the first shop they entered, as Jasmyn got distracted by the perfumes, Brooklynne took notice of a simple, black wide-brimmed hat hanging off a shelf. After putting it on, she looked at herself in the mirror and saw something she didn’t expect. For some reason, she felt compelled to buy the hat and only realized exactly why when she woke up the next morning.
You see, without realizing it, Brooklynne had purchased a very special hat, one that had the potential to change her life. At first, Brooklynne didn’t even realize what was going on. But when her first thought in the morning was to take a selfie, she felt weird to say the least. After examining that weirdness within her, she decided that she actually liked it and decided to take a selfie. Only after putting on her face and a new top, of course.
Once she had fully gotten up, Brooklynne notice that she had set her new black, wide-brimmed hat on the floor right in the center of her apartment. After looking around to see if she had set anything else down, she placed the hat on her head and continued on with her day.
At the gym later that morning, she realized that something serious had changed within her. She kept staring at those rows and rows of mirrors, trying to find what was different about her, but it felt like she was looking at a brand new person. Someone she had never seen before was looking back at her. She left the gym with 100 new selfies on her phone and a mission for the rest of the day.
Immediately she went to the nicest restaurant she could think of and ordered a drink at the bar, making sure to give her new hat a full view of the restaurant. Before she had finished her first cocktail, Brooklynne already had landed five sponsorship deals and had plans to star in a reality show. Apparently, it was really that easy.
Over the next several weeks, Brooklynne would amass a record-breaking following, all by showing off products and demo-ing new items for sale. It was incredible and before long, her entire life was changing. She had plans to move to LA, live in a house with other influencers, and even get engaged to her celebrity boyfriend Chris Jerry. It was perfect, and all because of a hat.
But then one day, Brooklynne lost the hat she loved so much and with it, her massive follower count. It wasn’t long before she was back at Starbucks on hourly pay, wishing she had seen the signs coming.
If you’re an influencer reading this, whatever you do, don’t lose your hat.
